Teenagers who can’t get out of bed in the morning or can’t get to sleep at night are a common problem we see in the clinic.
With illness, shift work, jet lag or lifestyle factors, our internal rhythm can get thrown out. Understanding how our circadian rhythm works and steps we can take to manage it is important for good health. It can also help us cope better with shift work, jet lag and travel, and managing teenager’s sleep.
